Altair Chemical is firmly committed to supporting research projects that promote more sustainable chemical solutions. In this spirit, we collaborated with the team at iPOOL srl to develop Essebiochlor HV, a new chlorinated bio-ester derived from renewable sources, proposed as a sustainable secondary plasticizer for flame-retardant PVC.

Compared to CP52, Essebiochlor HV offers better compatibility with PVC, lower migration, and good flame resistance, paving the way for safer and more environmentally friendly formulations.

The project, carried out with the contribution of a highly qualified team, is a prime example of successful collaboration between academic research, technological innovation, and industry.

At Altair Chemical, we believe innovation is the driving force behind sustainability. We actively participate in regional and national research initiatives, working alongside universities, the National Research Council (CNR), and technology partners to incorporate renewable raw materials, low-impact technologies, and uncompromising quality into our processes.

Thank you to iPOOL for this shared journey toward more responsible chemistry.
