Ongoing projects and green investments continue year after year, with the ultimate goal of increasing the share of self-generated energy, improving energy efficiency, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. For this reason, the company has developed a sustainability approach that embraces a wide range of environmental, social, and governance priorities across its business operations, following two strategic directions.
Clean Water and Sanitation
Through products that reduce pollutant levels, we strengthen the commitment of local communities to improving water management for drinking water supply and wastewater treatment within the sewer network.
Affordable and Clean Energy
Use of 58% renewable electricity through hydroelectric plants, photovoltaic systems (on-site, off-site and PPAs), and green guarantees of origin.
Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
We invest in strengthening rail transport and developing intermodal transport. We have launched pilot projects involving electric trucks for goods exchange between plants and with customers/suppliers.
Responsible Consumption and Production
We manufacture products in compliance with circular economy principles, using both recovered industrial waste and captured CO₂. We replace methane with process hydrogen, contributing to a significant reduction in emissions.
