{"id":5414,"date":"2026-08-25T21:18:47","date_gmt":"2026-08-25T19:18:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.altairchemical.com\/?p=5414"},"modified":"2026-08-25T21:18:47","modified_gmt":"2026-08-25T19:18:47","slug":"e-truck-project-the-first-results-of-a-new-model-of-industrial-logistics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.altairchemical.com\/en\/e-truck-project-the-first-results-of-a-new-model-of-industrial-logistics\/","title":{"rendered":"E-Truck Project: the first results of a new model of industrial logistics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the first half of 2026, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esseco.com\/en\/electric-industrial-transport-in-the-chemical-sector-is-now-a-reality\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>e-trucks involved in Esseco Industrial\u2019s project<\/strong><\/a> travelled more than 82,000 kilometres across the operational routes of Altair Chemical and Esseco in Piedmont and Tuscany.<\/p>\n<p>The project represents the first concrete example of fully electric ADR transport in the Italian chemical industry.<\/p>\n<p>This achievement was made possible through collaboration with our transport partners, <a href=\"https:\/\/germanitrasporti.it\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Germani Trasporti<\/strong><\/a> and <strong>Autotrasporti Burchianti,<\/strong> and through the technical support of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.man.eu\/it\/it\/chi-siamo\/azienda\/man-italia\/man-italia.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>MAN Truck &amp; Bus Italia<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>During the first six months, <strong>approximately 28,000 litres of diesel were saved, avoiding more than 70 tonnes of direct CO\u2082 emissions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A first tangible result towards a more sustainable, efficient and integrated model of industrial logistics.<\/p>\n<p>During the second half of 2026, the focus will be on further optimising e-truck utilisation through more effective planning of routes and logistics operations.<\/p>\n<p>The journey continues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the first half of 2026, the e-trucks involved in Esseco Industrial\u2019s project travelled more than 82,000 kilometres across the operational routes of Altair Chemical and Esseco in Piedmont and Tuscany.
