In 2025, in Tuscany, Altair Chemical chose to contribute to the “Fuori (di) Classe” project, promoted by Associazione Mondo Nuovo APS: a specialized after-school program dedicated to students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), Special Educational Needs (SEN), and certified disabilities, operating in the areas of Volterra and Pomarance.
Born from close attention to the local community and its educational needs, the project goes beyond simple homework support. “Fuori (di) Classe” focuses on learning methods, awareness of individual strengths, time management, and building self-confidence, offering students a stable and inclusive educational environment that also supports their relational and emotional development.
Through a shared effort involving associations, institutions, local authorities, and community stakeholders, the project has supported numerous students throughout the school year, ensuring successful completion for all participants, with no dropouts, and helping them pass their end-of-year exams. This commitment has also translated into concrete support for families—particularly those who lack the financial or cultural resources to independently address the challenges associated with special educational needs.
Altair Chemical’s contribution is part of this collective effort, which has made a high-value educational and social initiative possible, demonstrating how collaboration among communities, associations, public bodies, and businesses can generate meaningful and lasting positive impact.
We believe that inclusion, education, and social cohesion are integral to a company’s responsibility. And this is the path we intend to continue pursuing.
