A milestone achievement for the Pieve Vergonte site: ISO 14001 certification obtained for the first time

With a fully positive outcome, the Altair Chemical plant in Pieve Vergonte (VB) has obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification for the first time and successfully completed the preliminary audit to pursue its initial EMAS registration.

This is a historic result, recognizing the dedication and quality of the work carried out by the entire team — built day by day through competence, transparency, deep process knowledge, and a genuine drive for improvement.

The ISO 14001 certification confirms that the site manages its environmental impact in a structured and compliant way, with a preventive approach.

EMAS registration, a voluntary tool of the European Union, also requires a validated and publicly available Environmental Statement, ensuring transparency and accountability towards the local community.
